I love bringing the wisdom of yoga, breathing and relaxation to women to help them during pregnancy and post natally once baby arrives. Pregnancy yoga can also really help in birth and I have a wealth of skill in understanding nervous system and how we react to stress and how to help de-stress and listen to our bodies and all their inherent wisdom

Pregnancy Yoga offers significant benefits for both expecting mothers and their babies. It helps alleviate common discomforts like back pain and stiffness, supports physical strength and flexibility, and promotes better alignment and posture. Emotionally, it reduces stress and anxiety, fostering a connection with the unborn baby and enhancing mental well-being. Yoga also prepares mothers for childbirth with practical breathing techniques and birth positions. Postnatally, it aids in gentle recovery, restores strength, and supports bonding.

I am trained in integrative hypnosis for birth. In sessions I look at how hypnobirthing can help during labour. Pregnancy Yoga sessions also include some of these amazing practices and antenatal workshops explain these in more detail along with active birth positions and optimal foetal positioning. Post natally I focus on breath to de-stress and practices to soothe and calm and rebalance, helping with sleep deprivation and exhaustion.

I am passionate about bringing you my 17 years expertise and experience of yoga and more recently of using somatics and trauma healing to regulate stress and anxiety with an trauma sensitive lens, to help you both feel much more confident and knowledgeable about your baby’s arrival into the world.
